Why specialised ETP for Automobile Industry?

Automobile manufacturing units generate complex effluent streams — oily wastewater from washing & degreasing, paint shop rinse water containing suspended solids and colorants, solvent residues, and metal finishing effluent with heavy metals. Overview — Typical Automobile ETP (5–300 KLD)

We supply packaged and site-erected ETP systems for automobile units, paint shops, component washers, electroplating and metal finishing. Standard solutions include:

  • Oil & grease separation (API / oil trap / dissolved air flotation)
  • pH neutralization & coagulation / flocculation for paint solids removal
  • Biological treatment (MBBR / SBR / ASP) for soluble organics
  • Advanced polishing (UF/RO/activated carbon) for reuse or to meet stringent discharge limits

Q: Can you handle paint-shop rinse containing solvents?

A: Solvent-bearing streams are best treated with source segregation and either physical adsorption (activated carbon) or advanced oxidation (AOP). We recommend a pilot to define best approach.

Q: What about electroplating effluent with heavy metals?

A: We provide chemical precipitation, filtration and polishing to meet heavy metal limits. Metals recovery options also available.

Q: Do you provide RO / ZLD solutions?

A: Yes — UF/RO polishing and MEE-based ZLD packages are available for reuse and zero discharge requirements.
